The Engineering Division is currently comprised of five sections; Engineering, Inspection, Survey, Computer Aided Design, and Right-of Way and Records Research.

The Engineering Division develops the plans and specifications related to numerous engineering projects, oversees and co-ordinates the activities of various design firms performing work for the County, provides construction inspection for County projects, provides survey services for County projects, inspects driveways for conformance with the County standards, evaluates and develops solutions for numerous drainage issues, researches and resolves right-of-way issues, monitors numerous grant programs, and provides other engineering services as required. The Division also provides traffic engineering services, develops the re-surfacing program recommendations with input from other divisions and monitors the re-surfacing program.
